About eurocoeff

UEFA five-year association ranking, presented clearly — mobile-friendly, current, multilingual.

What is this site?

eurocoeff.com is an independent website covering UEFA coefficients — the ranking system that determines how many Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League slots each association gets in the next seasons. Instead of reconstructing this data from spreadsheets, PDFs, or scattered official documents, we collect, process, and visualize it in a single, mobile-optimized interface.

The site includes:

Why this site exists

UEFA coefficients are a niche topic. Anyone interested has few good sources — the official UEFA site is comprehensive but unreadable for casual fans; Wikipedia articles go stale the moment a matchday ends; existing trackers were either desktop-only or didn't update in real time. eurocoeff started from a desire to present this dataset as cleanly and as mobile-friendly as possible, and to explain the methodology in plain English (or German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese).

Data sources and updates

Live match data is sourced through licensed providers like football-data.org. Historical data and season archives are based on publicly available UEFA publications, club statistics, and established football statistics databases. Data is updated automatically every day at 06:15 UTC and refreshes multiple times per hour during Champions League or Europa League match nights. A full methodology explainer covering all calculation rules is on the explainer page.

eurocoeff.com is not an official UEFA service and is not affiliated with UEFA, FIFA, or any national football association. Match results, standings, and coefficients are provided for informational purposes only.

Who runs this site?

eurocoeff is operated by Andre Semek, a cloud and software engineer based in Berlin. You can find more about my professional work at semek.org. This site started as a side project because I had been following Champions League race data for years and grew tired of switching between several half-working sources.

If you find a data inaccuracy, miss a feature, or want to submit a correction, send an email to [email protected]. We typically respond within 1–2 business days.

Technical stack

eurocoeff is a static React/Vite application hosted on Cloudflare Pages and rendered entirely client-side. The data pipeline runs on a Hostinger VPS that fetches match results, writes them to a PostgreSQL database, and serves them as JSON snapshots to the website.

The site is multilingual (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese) and built with mobile use as the primary target. No accounts, no pop-ups, no tracking cookies — see our privacy policy for details.
